Last Teen Weekender as a Camper

| October 12, 2019

By: Ethan Scott-Smith

This is my final year at Teen Weekender as a camper and I am proud to say that I am ready to volunteer next year! In 2013, my first year, there were only about 15 campers. Now, in 2019, our numbers have boomed to over 50 campers! I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch the number of campers explode throughout over my years as a camper and I can’t wait to become a volunteer and pass forward the joy that I experienced as a camper into the next generation! Today, we arrived safe at camp and after a delicious dinner, we were treated to a campfire filled with songs, skits, and of course, s’mores! We are relaxing and playing games before we head to bed to prepare for the fun filled day that we have planned for tomorrow!

Goodnight from Teen Weekender!
