“KCA did an amazing job providing activities and opportunities during virtual camp! Camp has been a part of our family’s summer since 2013, and we can’t imagine a summer without it! It wouldn’t be summer without Indian Summer!”

This pandemic has really made things tough for our children. Isolation isn’t something new, but it was made harder with the news that Camp had been changed. How would they connect with their friends that they see once a year? It seemed that covid-19 had taken EVERYTHING away. But with your support, Camp was still possible! Even though things would look a little different, there was beaming faces and children laughing and playing games…baking cookies and making crafts…just like Camp has always been. With your support, our children were able to experience Camp in a new way…in a way that helped our children connect with their friends and bring some joy back to their day. Thank you so very much for making Camp possible this year. Instead of their summer being full of covid-19 “Nos”, you made it full of Summer Camp “Yeses”!”

“I don’t have the words right now to fully paint the picture of how our son has been lifted up by Kids Cancer Alliance. Thank you again for all you do to care for our kids, body and soul. There are many days where our son feels different or has to work so much harder at something that’s easy for most kids. KCA reminds us of how far he’s come, what an incredible battle he fought, and that he’s far from alone. ”

“Getting to come to Kids Cancer Alliance’s camp is the absolutely only good thing about having cancer.”
– Cody, 2011 graduating camper

“Thank you for all you do for the kids at KCA. Our daughter has attended for 3 years and she loves, loves, loves the camp! We are thankful as her parents to have a camp to send her to where I know her needs are met and she has the opportunity to do so many activities. We are also thankful that there are no costs, as our finances are stretched with so many medical costs. Thank you again and please let the staff know we appreciate all their work, effort and commitment to these kids.”
– Kay, mom of a very happy camper!

“I want to thank each and every one of you for making our daughter’s time at camp a very wonderful memory for us. I keep going back looking at the pictures that I received and marvel at the smiles I see on our daughter’s face while enduring so much pain. It was a very difficult decision to send her to camp, but looking back, we are so glad we did. She couldn’t have received any better care than if she were in the hospital. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors and counselors for making this such a great time for her and providing such great memories in pictures for me. Please know that I am very grateful for all that you did to make sure she had a good week and will love you guys forever.”
– Jerry, camper father
