Wacky Halloween Wednesday

| June 9, 2022

Campers woke up super excited this morning because they were finally able to Polar Bear Swim in the pool! YAY & BRRRR!!! After that invigorating dip, we enjoyed breakfast before kicking off our Halloween Themed day full of spooky fun.
Cabin & Camper Choice this morning included making resin coasters in Arts & Crafts, lots more fishing and kayaking on the lake, and exploring the creek for geodes (and breaking them open- the best part!).
After lunch, campers alternated between swim time, continuing to work on their talent show acts with our music folks, rounds of putt-putt, and a hiking excursion, which included picking hiking sticks.
For dinner, we were treated to a gourmet pasta dinner donated by our friends Chef Josh Moore and Volare Ristorante. Campers eagerly came back for seconds and even thirds before giving Chef a standing THANK YOU ovation.
This evening, each cabin created their own Halloween Parade floats- which were really impressive! After the parade, campers Trick-or-Treated around camp. We have a super creative bunch of campers this week who have made all of our holiday celebrations extra fun!
Everyone is tucked into bed now resting up for another amazing day of camp tomorrow!
