Tuesday Tales from Camp

| June 21, 2023

We had an awesome day at camp despite some spotty rain showers. We kicked off our morning with another chilly Polar Bear Swim to wake us up, followed by breakfast to fuel us for the busy day ahead.

The morning was filled with each cabin visiting Archery and lots of campers got bullseyes! Everyone was really excited about Archery and loved it. Arts & Crafts and fishing were also popular activities.

After a yummy lunch, we enjoyed some well-deserved quiet time. After resting up, we swam, and played putt-putt golf. We had a brief shelter-in-place, due to weather, so we played some cards & board games before resuming our normal activities.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious brisket dinner donated by Chef Don Farer. We had some rain this evening, but we didn’t let it ruin our fun- we improvised in true camp spirit and had a movie night in the dining hall. Everyone is catching some Z’s now to rest up for more fun tomorrow.

Reminder: Send your camper a note via our online camp mail portal:  https://forms.gle/YfzQD6eY9jo4EAx26 . Campers love getting camp mail and we’re sure they’d love to hear from you!
