Thursday Fun at Camp KCA

| June 23, 2023

Another fun Polar Bear Swim helped wake us up after having our sleep in day (an extra hour of sleep!). After our waffle breakfast, campers enjoyed doing melty beads & painting in Arts & Crafts, fishing on the lake, and continued practicing our aim at archery, and explored the creek for crawdads and geodes.

After quesadillas for lunch, we spent the afternoon swimming, doing more Arts & Crafts and putting the final touches on our talent show acts.

Our delicious steak & potatoes dinner this evening was donated by our friends Mike & Sue Ellis- THANK YOU! The evening Talent Show was filled with music & songs, showing off fun skills & talents, and some pretty hilarious skits. We sure do have some really creative and talented campers! We finished out our night by releasing floating lanterns on the lake.

It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is our last full day of the camp week – the week has been flying by since we’re having such a great time!
