Fantastic Friday Fun

| June 23, 2023

Happy Friday from camp! Our campers woke up to the sweet sound of the Polar Bear Swim call,  then sat down to a cinnamon roll and scrambled egg breakfast before heading out for cabin & camper choice activities.

Campers spent their morning in the Arts & Crafts Pavilion, at the lake fishing, kayaking, and paddle boating, searching for more geodes and crawdads in the creek, and putting their way through the mini golf course.

After lunch, we spent the afternoon getting in our last swimtimes of the week, finishing our art projects, and getting final dress fittings in preparation for the dance tonight. PLUS, we had a petting zoo come AND a visit from the Kona Ice Truck!

Campers are eating a yummy hamburger and mac n cheese dinner as we type this and then will get all spiffed up for the annual Closing Dance. We know they will have an aweome time!

While we’re sad the camp week is coming to a close, we are so very thankful to families for entrusting us with your campers this week. We had an absolute blast and know your campers made lifelong memories and friendships! We hope your family will keep in touch with us at Kids Cancer Alliance and participate in our year round programs. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families and ensure local families are not alone in their childhood cancer journey.

Reminder: Camper Pick-up is TOMORROW, Saturday 6/24 from 9:00-10:30am.
