Camp KCA: A Week That Was Out of This World 🚀💛

Day 1: Camp KCA Has Launched!
From the moment our amazing campers arrived, the air buzzed with excitement! Greeted by our energetic counselors, staff, and Med Shed team, the week kicked off with cheers and smiles all around. The opening campfire set the tone with songs, skits, storytelling, and, of course, gooey s’mores. We also welcomed our first-time campers with bravery coins—honoring their courage to try something new. The adventure had officially begun!

Day 2: A Stellar Day of Exploration 🌌
Our space-themed journey continued as campers dove into hands-on activities led by the Kentucky Science Center. Despite the rain, the fun didn’t slow down—fishing, crafting, and jamming during music time kept spirits high. The day ended with a high-energy round of bingo and some impressive mini-golf putting. Every moment sparkled with joy, creativity, and laughter!

Day 3: Camp Classics and a Slime Showdown ⛺️🛶
Day three was packed with camp favorites! Campers sang their hearts out during music, enjoyed fishing and boating, and got crafty in the art shack. The day wrapped up with the ultimate slime war—messy, silly, and absolutely unforgettable. Spirits soared, friendships deepened, and the laughter echoed across camp!

Day 4: Thrills at Holiday World 🎢☀️🍦
Day four brought a change of scenery and a big dose of excitement with a field trip to Holiday World! From rollercoasters and water rides to ice cream and sunny vibes, the day was filled with nonstop fun. Campers returned with tired feet, full hearts, and memories they’ll talk about all year long.

Day 5: Talent & Timeless Fun 🌟
Day 5 was a celebration of creativity and adventure. Campers hit the water again for fishing and boating, competed in the legendary KCA Masters, and capped it all off with the much-anticipated talent show! From singers to dancers to comedians, every camper brought their own magic to the stage.

Day 6: A Grand Finale to Remember 💃🚀🪩
Our final full day was the perfect send-off to an incredible week. Campers soaked in every last moment—earning trophies and medals, racing their handmade spaceship boats in the pool, and dancing the night away. Dressed to impress, they shared hugs, laughs, and one more round of sing-alongs under the stars. Camp KCA, you’ve given us a week of joy, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Day 7: Camp KCA – Until Next Time! 💛👋
Just like that, another amazing first week at Camp KCA has come to a close. We said our goodbyes with full hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. Every moment was filled with laughter, friendship, and the kind of magic that only camp can bring. Watching our campers grow, connect, and shine has been the greatest gift.
