Shelby was hired as the Kids Cancer Alliance, Inc. ED in May 2010. Shelby received her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2006 and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2007. Shelby volunteered at camp as a counselor for five years and worked as the outpatient social worker at the U.K. Pediatric Hematology-Oncology clinic before her employment with KCA. Shelby says she enjoys working for KCA because there’s always a new challenge around the corner and because she is continuously learning from and being inspired by the children and families we serve.
