In-Hospital Programs

Kids Cancer Alliance provides an array of recreational programming to children with cancer in the hospitals and outpatient clinics where they are treated. These In-Hospital Programs bring comfort and smiles to help make the hospital more hospitable.

Flashes of Hope

With a cancer diagnosis, treatments and isolation from friends, it can be a challenge to find reasons to smile. Yet, children with cancer find a way. Flashes of Hope was created to capture those smiles and forever preserve images of courage, beauty and dignity. Flashes of Hope provides families with professional photos of their child, creates memories for the families, documents their cancer journey and provides a fun distraction from routine hospital activities.

Meals and More

Good meals are hard to find when you’re in the hospital. But KCA is there to help. The Meals and More program provides a hot meal and goodie bags to both parents and kids. Our goal is to bring comfort and smiles to help make their hospital stay more hospitable.

Camp-In

Hospital stays can be long, stressful and boring for many kids facing cancer. Kids need an opportunity to just be kids — even in the hospital. The Camp-In program was started with this in mind. Our kids love summer camp, but there are times when they are not well enough to attend. So instead of them coming to camp, we bring camp to them! We set up a tent, make s’mores, play games, do arts and crafts and lots more!
