How much does it cost to attend camp?

Because we understand the financial strain that a cancer diagnosis puts on a family, there is no cost to the family for ANY of our camps or programs. They are provided free of charge to eligible children & families and we have never turned a child away. This is why we rely 100% on donations from individuals, groups, and businesses.

How are your programs funded?

Kids Cancer Alliance, Inc. is a statewide 501(c)3 non-profit organization with offices located in Louisville, KY. We do not receive any federal or state funding. We rely on contributions of individuals, foundations, and corporations to financially support our programs. Many community groups host special fundraising events throughout the year, and we hold our own fundraisers. How do I volunteer?

At KCA we have a small staff, so we rely heavily on volunteers to make our programs special. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, you can find more information in the Volunteer section of our website.

Where are your camps located?

All of our camps are held at rented facilities in Kentucky. Camp locations may change from year to year due to our capacity needs.

Who is eligible for your programs?

We serve children of all ages who have had or are currently battling cancer and their families. Some of our programs may have additional eligibility requirements. Please visit the programs page for more information about these requirements.
